Mark J. Melillo
CEO and President
Mark J. Melillo is CEO and President of Melillo Consulting. Since founding the company in 1988, Mark has led the firm in architecting, integrating and implementing end-to-end technology solutions for companies nationwide. Under his leadership the company has grown from a start-up consultancy to a national technology integrator with more than one hundred employees, offices in nine states and revenues of more than $60 million. Mark’s focus on technology leadership has enabled Melillo to receive numerous industry accolades including the Economic Vitality Award presented by then-Governor, Christine Whitman, and numerous occurrences on both the VARBusiness 500 and Deloitte & Touche’s Technology Fast 50. The company has also achieved strong partner status and dozens of awards based on sales achievement, including being recognized by Hewlett-Packard as a PartnerONE Elite Platinum Business Partner and having won several HP Software Crystal Awards for delivering outstanding customer solutions. Mark has also served on a variety of industry panels for CRN/VAR Business, HP and Avnet and currently serves on the HP Enterprise Council and the Avnet Advisory Council.

Gary Melillo
Executive Vice President, Business Development
Gary joined the company in January 1995. Previous to joining Melillo, Gary spent 16 years in sales, marketing, and sales management for HP. While at HP, he had a successful track record in developing business. Gary’s territory included the New York Metro Area of commercial accounts and the Northeastern US for military customers. Subsequent to his career at HP, Gary spent two years at Oxford Management Corporation, a venture capital firm in New York City. He was President of Cambridge Parallel Processing, a start-up, massively parallel Computer Company. Today, he sits on the Board of Directors for that and several other companies.

Bob Shoykhet
Chief Financial Officer
Bob’s focus is on the development of immediate and long-term strategies, which support current and future business opportunities. In addition, he leads implementation and maintenance of internal financial structures and processes. Bob’s 19 years of experience include working as an auditor for a Big 5 accounting firm, as well as CFO for an international consulting and PC manufacturing company. His extensive experience involved managing financial growth of a company from $32 to $350 million, including the bidding and acquisition of competing companies. He was also the leader in establishing financial operations and structures in five international markets.

George Culbertson
Chief Marketing Officer
As CMO, George leads Melillo’s Marketing and Customer Experience efforts. His creativity and perspectives touch many different aspects of the company, all intended to create an exceptional experience for Melillo clients. George is responsible for product and partner strategies and spends much of his time thinking about ways to serve Melillo’s clients better. Prior to joining Melillo Consulting, he spent over 25 years in technology sales and marketing. He has been with companies of various sizes and complexities, including 20 years with Hewlett Packard where held various sales, sales management, and business development positions, and managed global sales and marketing teams. He is a veteran of the channels business both as a vendor and a reseller. George holds a BA Degree in Philosophy from Loretto Heights College, a BS in Biology from the University of Colorado and an Masters in Business Administration from Duke University.

Rick Carney
General Manager, Management Consulting & Infrastructure Technology
Rick is the Vice President, General Manager & CIO for Melillo Consulting, Inc. Rick leads the Infrastructure and Management Consulting groups within Melillo as well as the Managed Services business. Before joining Melillo, Rick spent his career on the Customer side of IT where he spent 15 years at the CTO/CIO level including positions such as the Chief Technology Officer for Barr Laboratories and the Corporate CIO for the North Shore-LIJ Health System, one of the largest health systems in the nation. Rick’s career also includes positions at ABB and IBM. Rick is also widely known in the NJ IT community, as he served as the President of the NJ Chapter of the Society for Information Management and currently serves as a Trustee and the Executive Director for their newly formed NJ SIM Foundation.

Jeff Gibson
General Manager, Enterprise Management & Security
Jeff leads Melillo’s Enterprise Management & Security practice. His team provides a full suite of data center management and security services. Jeff brings 17 years of senior level executive experience in diverse business areas, including management, technology and sales, to his team. This experience served him well in the launch of his start-up company, ManageIT, and the successful launch of the company’s first internally-developed software product offering. Jeff also developed HIPAA’s Security Assessment & Remediation Strategy around the Final HIPPA Security Rule. Jeff co-authored the book HP OpenView: A Manager’s Guide, and has written numerous white papers on topics such as Network Management and Monitoring, Policy-based Management, Enterprise Service Level Management, and Security Management. Because of his many years of expertise in the Security and Identity Management, he has spoken at numerous executive level conferences and summits, tradeshows, and training sessions. Jeff has served on the Board of Directors for various organizations including VAR’s, MSP’s and consulting companies. He is a graduate of the University of Houston where he received his degree in Management Information Systems.

Mark Kolansky
Regional Director of Business Development
Mark is Melillo Consulting’s Regional Director of Business Development, concentrating on growing sales for the entire portfolio of products and services. Additionally, Mark is responsible for leading our major account program and expanding our business across the breadth of these accounts. Mark spent more than thirty years with Hewlett Packard, primarily as a sales manager for many of HP’s hardware, software and services products. Most recently, Mark was the Northeast District Sales Manager for HP’s Business Critical Servers. Mark has extensive expertise in leading high performing sales teams in the selling of complex solutions such as ERP, business intelligence and data center infrastructure to the manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services vertical markets in addition to mid market accounts. He graduated from Poly Tech Institute with an MS degree in Management Science, and holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute.

Scott Hansen
Sales Manager
As a driving force behind much of Melillo Consulting's business development efforts, Scott leads a team dedicated to seeking out and establishing effective and successful business relationships for the company. He has been instrumental in developing many of the company's most longstanding and profitable customer relationships. Scott joined Melillo in 2002 as an inside sales representative. During his tenure, he has quickly risen through the ranks to Director of Business Development and then to his current role as Sales Manager. Scott's expertise and professional drive have helped build many relationships with critical industry partners including EMC, Citrix, SAS and others. Among his accomplishments, Scott has been a five-time President’s Club award winner at Melillo. Before joining Melillo consulting, Scott enjoyed a successful career with another New Jersey reseller as a technical consultant, where he was primarily focused on the Compaq Storage, Veritas software and HP OpenView software bussinesses.

Rich Klimkiewicz
General Manager, BTO Software and Solutions
Rich leads Melillo’s BTO Software and Solutions Group. His team provides Business Technology Optimization (BTO) services that help companies manage and optimize their business services, applications and availability. Services focus on the delivery of solutions for business availability, performance tuning and optimization, project and portfolio management, test automation, test management, quality assessment and training. Prior to joining Melillo, Rich was the Founder and President of Software Quality Solutions (SQS). Under Rich’s direction, SQS grew into one of the foremost providers of technology optimization solutions for enterprise business systems in the northeast. Rich began his career at IBM, and subsequently worked at Intel. At Intel he was a pioneer in developing best practices and testing strategies for multimedia applications. Rich founded Software Quality Solutions (SQS) in 1994, and served as President and CEO until its acquisition by Melillo in 2007. Rich has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
