  • Ansible Automation Engineer


    Position Description:
    The candidate will be responsible for the development of automation and container solutions utilizing Ansible Core, Ansible Tower and OpenShift. The candidate will be a member of a consulting team and work with our customers to design and implement automation for distributed data center infrastructure and cloud solutions. 

    Description of Duties:

    • Execute the duties and responsibilities as a member of the DevOps consulting team.
    • Develop Ansible playbooks and modules
    • Work collaboratively with our customers to create and deploy Ansible solutions for a distributed data center infrastructure environment
    • Implement Ansible infrastructure, create maintenance and configuration plans and provide SME level support
    • Implement OpenShift infrastructure, create maintenance and configuration plans and provide SME level support
    • Provide technical support to customers concerning automation solution usage
    • Create system and process documentation and user guides as needed diagrams and SOPs for customer deliverables
    • Create and/or assist in the creation of SOW to be provided to potential clients

     

    Required Experience/Skills/Attributes:

    • Experience with Ansible Core and Ansible Tower. (Experience with Ansible strongly preferred, however open to other DevOps (Chef, Salt, Puppet) tools experience)
    • Experience with OpenShift (Experience with OpenShift preferred, however open to other container platforms as well (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
    • Strong experience coding and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Batch files, etc.)
    • Strong experience with RHEL 6, RHEL 7, Windows 2016 and Windows 2019 System Administration
    • Strong knowledge of Source Code Control Systems (Git).
    • Experience leading system integration projects as the technical lead
    • Experience working with customers to capture/document requirements

     

    Desired Experience/Skills/Attributes:

    • Certification(s) in Ansible, OpenShift, Azure, and/or AWS
    • 4+ years’ experience with public cloud technologies with an emphasis on Azure or Amazon Web Services
    • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service architecture
    • LAN/WAN networking experience
  • Senior Consultant/Delivery Engineer - Infrastructure Services


    Melillo Consulting is seeking a driven and innovative consultant to join our growing team and help deliver solutions to address and meet the needs of our clients. The Infrastructure Senior Consultant will work with Melillo Solution Architects and clients to deliver solutions and services around Infrastructure and modernization and digital transformation. The consultant provides expertise in implementation of complex systems in both traditional infrastructure and public cloud.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Work at an expert level implementing and delivering aspects of a customer engagement in the various infrastructure areas in which you are qualified.
    • Work as a team member delivering consulting on other technologies.
    • Establish trusted advisor relationships with decision-makers and senior buyers.
    • Confer with customers, prospects, and salespeople to collect requirements.
    • Determine technical risk and issues and suggest mitigation options.
    • Keep skills updated and remain proactively aware of current events in the industry.

     

    Qualifications

    Expertise in one or more of the following:

    • Infrastructure from Dell Technologies and/or HPE
    • Virtualization technology from VMware or Microsoft
    • AWS and/or Azure

    Outstanding client interface skills

    Demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction

    Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be self-directed and independent

    A Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in infrastructure technology or computer science is required

     

    Experience

    Applicants should have a minimum of 10 yrs. related experience.

     

    Education

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in information technology or computer science

     

    Location

    Clients and engagements will primarily be located in the New York/New Jersey/Philadelphia metro area with some travel into New England and Pennsylvania. Typical engagements involve both on-site and remote activities.

  • Desktop Systems Analyst


    Melillo Consulting is an IT Technology company located in Somerset, NJ.  We are a company that focuses on our employees by promoting an entrepreneurial, fun, work-life balance environment.

    Our company is currently seeking ​a full-time on-site Desktop Systems Analyst to join our team.

     

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    This position is primarily responsible for providing desktop support. The incumbent will:

    • Assist the end-users with hardware, software, and mobile device questions, concerns, or issues by providing one-on-one resolution to the client’s satisfaction.
    • Answer and respond to IT support calls, walk-ups, service requests, tickets, and e-mail support.
    • Deploy and test computer images including all software and OS installs and configurations.
    • Act as an escalation point for external help desk service providers.
    • Document all support efforts in the ticketing system as per procedures.

     

    Required Skills:

    • Strong, independent working skills while maintaining team communication.
    • Agile and flexible (multitasking) in all aspects including implementations and critical troubleshooting.
    • Proven critical thinking and advanced analytical skills.
    • Effective in team and independent work scenarios and possesses versatile problem-solving approaches with strong exhibition of ownership and drive.
    • Ability to create and maintain documentation as required.
    • 3-5 years of helpdesk experience preferred.

     

    Experience:

    • Expertise in Windows Desktop Operating Systems: centralized management, expert-level support, deployment, and patching compliance.
    • Experienced in Networking and associated technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
    • Experience with MS Active Directory (user/group management, GPOs, etc.)
    • Experience with centralized Malware protection systems for endpoints.
    • Experience with Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint)
    • Experience with centralized Desktop management and deployment systems (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit)
    • Administer and maintain industry-standard AV, Firewall and Malware protection software suite for corporate desktops.
    • Administer and assign licenses for various 3rd party applications (on-prem and Cloud).
    • Collaborate with Network team to plan new projects, resolve technical issues.
    • Experience with VMware is a plus.

     

    Education:

    A Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years practical experience with PC/Desktop support in an Enterprise environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
