2020

Melillo Consulting Achieves 2020 CRN® Triple Crown Award. CRN Triple Crown Award winners are among the largest IT solution providers in North America from a revenue standpoint on the Solution Provider 500 list, while ranking as one of the fastest-growing organizations in the channel with recognition on the Fast Growth 150 list, and have received the highest-level certifications from leading vendors on the Tech Elite 250 list. While it is an impressive accomplishment for a solution provider to earn a spot on any of these elite lists, being named to all three in the same year is a great honor that Melillo Consulting appreciates and celebrates. Celebrating Our 30th Anniversary Delivering Customer Success. February 2018 marks a huge milestone for the Melillo Consulting team – our 30th anniversary delivering technology and business success for the customers we serve. 2017

Melillo Consulting was recognized as an HPE Enterprise Group Platinum Partner, an HPE Software Platinum Partner and Dell EMC Platinum Partner, with excellent relationships with multiple hardware and software providers. Melillo was recognized in the CRN 2015 Tech Elite 250 as well as the 2015 CRN SP 500 (formerly the VAR500).

2014

Melillo achieved VMware Enterprise Partner status.

2013

Melillo celebrated its 25th Anniversary Year and was recognized as HPE Software Partner of the Year.

2005

The company partnered with EMC in 2005, adding to their vendor portfolio and further expanding service capabilities. That same year, the company surpassed $50 million in revenue and made news as it was named to the VAR500, and received the Economic Vitality Award.

2004

Melillo Consulting expanded its reach, providing solutions to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

2001

While the technology industry faced challenges with the new millennium, Melillo Consulting maintained its position as a trusted and valued IT Solutions and Services provider, gaining status as an HPE Platinum Business Partner.

2000

Melillo continued to be recognized on New Jersey's Fastest Growing Companies list 2000 and 2001. During this time, the company became a multi-vendor, full system integrator and continued growth led to the opening of Sales Offices in New York City and the Philadelphia area.

1999

Melillo Consulting continued to grow, capturing numerous awards. In addition to winning several Crystal Awards for HPE OpenView product sales and support services, Melillo was recognized on New Jersey's Fastest Growing Companies list in 1999 and was awarded the Economic Vitality Award by then-Governor Christine Todd Whitman.

1998

Melillo was named as an HPE "Elite Reseller" in 1998.

1995

In 1995, Mark hired his brother Gary, an experienced HPE Sales Executive, to run his rapidly expanding sales force. As Vice President of Business Development, Gary grew business throughout NY, NJ, and Eastern PA. Recognized as a valued IT resource by a number of enterprise and midsize companies, Melillo grew to 100 employees by the end of 1995.

1993

In 1993, HPE approached Melillo to become a value-added reseller.

1990

Mark's wife, Karen Melillo, joined the company as Vice President of Administration. Prior to taking the role with Melillo, Karen had spent 9 years as a Senior Systems Engineer at HPE, establishing herself as a regional expert in HPE's New Wave Environment as well as in office automation, PC integration, and multi-platform system integration. Providing hardware and software consulting services, the company grew steadily over the next several years.

1989

Mark Melillo hired his first employee to focus on the Baltimore County Government project which required 60-70 hours per week. To facilitate additional growth, the company moved its location later that year to the Professional Center at Somerset, an office complex located at 15 Clyde Road, Somerset, NJ.

1988

In February of 1988, Mark leveraged the consulting skills he had developed during his tenure at HPE to start his own company. Working from the basement of his home, he cultivated relationships with a number of customers including, AT&T, Stewart Associates, and Baltimore County Government.

1987

Mark Melillo, CEO and Founder of Melillo Consulting, started the company after working for Hewlett-Packard for six years as a technical consultant. During his time at HPE, Mark achieved recognition as a talented Systems Specialist who had supported some of HPE's largest telecommunications customers, providing expertise in software development, performance optimization, applications design, and artificial intelligence. His technical proficiency and commitment to excellence led HPE's then-CEO, John Young, to recognize him personally with an HPE Excellence Award.
