TOOLING AROUND TOWN RESTORATION PROJECT

Over the April 26^th, 2025 weekend, members of our team proudly volunteered with “Tooling Around Town” in Woodbridge Township, NJ. This community initiative aids handicapped, disabled, and elderly residents through home repairs, gardening, and property beautification projects. Our team: Bob Shoyhet, Luis Munoz, Tara Narcisi, and Erica Kalmar, focused on restoring and cleaning the backyard gardens of a disabled resident’s home. Fortunately, the weather remained clear throughout the project, allowing the work to be completed without interruption. The Mayor of Woodbridge Township and a local TV crew visited to recognize the volunteers’ efforts.

Melillo NYC Marathoner Runs to Combat Hunger

On November 3rd, 2024, Melillo’s own Cory Brock completed the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon. According to Cory, running 26.2 miles through all five boroughs of this iconic city was both humbling and inspiring. His run raised over $3.8k for an amazing cause City Harvest, New York city’s first and largest food rescue non-profit organization.

The Franklin Food bank annual Tour de Franklin

On April 28th, 2024, Melillo participated in The Franklin Food bank annual Tour de Franklin. This year was no different having a full cycling team for team Melillo, riding a cumulative 200 miles while repping our MelilloSMART swag! The foodbank was able to raise a total of $100k+ in a result of this year’s ride.

Lou Spadafora, Dir. of Bus. Dev. and Dan Sytsma, former President rode 35 miles in the rain to benefit the Tour de Franklin hosted by the Franklin Food Bank. Melillo is proud to announce that our team was the highest fundraising team this year and years prior raising upwards of $7K+. This year the Tour de Franklin raised a total donation of $127.8K to help fight local hunger.

TCS New York City Marathon 2022

Melillo sponsored Cory Brock, Director of Business Dev., in his marathon runon Sunday, November 6^th for the 2022 TCS New York City Marathon. All proceeds of Cory’s marathon run went to City Harvest, a non-profit organization founded in 1982, is the world’s first food rescue program. Cory completed his run in 4hrs 1min and raised a total of $4,200.

Franklin Food Bank: Tour De Franklin Bike Marathon 2022

Team Melillo proudly supports the Franklin Food Bank all year long. One of the organization’s key fundraisers is its annual Tour de Franklin bike marathon. The Franklin Food Bank is committed to serving the food needs of our local community in an atmosphere of dignity and respect since 1975.

Melillo is a Silver sponsor of Geisinger’s Beyond the Bricks Ball which directly aids programs like the Child Advocacy Center, serving children who experience abuse and neglect, Free2BMom for pregnant people working through addiction, and pediatric emergency zones where kids with traumas or illnesses get exacting, experienced care in their time of greatest need.

The team donated funds on behalf of Melillo Consulting to EverFree, a non-profit organization founded in 2009 with a focus on freeing communities from human trafficking and empowering survivors everywhere to flourish in freedom.

On September 19, 2022, members of Team Melillo and other supporters joined the Franklin Food Bank for their annual “Golf for Groceries” charity golf outing.
